Application:
  • for trans-femoral amputees
  • medium functional level
  • medium stance phase stability
  • medium swing phase control
  • can be used also for hip disarticulation
  • not recommended for patients with a higher activity level

Function:
This knee joint has a pyramid with a spherical segment at its proximal and distal end.
Linkage bars connect upper and lower joint. The security of the stance phase results from polycentric kinematics, setting of center of rotation is done by the extension stop adjustment. For a control of the swing phase, axis friction and extension assist spring are infinitely adjustable.
