3W030 Modular Knee Joint for knee disarticulation

polycentric
with internal extension assist

Application:
  • for knee disarticulation amputees
  • low functional level
  • medium stance phase stability
  • medium swing phase control
  • not recommended for unstable  patients or those with a higher activity  level

Function:
This knee joint has a detachable lamination anchor on its proximal end and a pyramid with spherical segment on its distal end. Anterior and posterior linkage bars connect upper and lower joint. The security of the stance phase results from polycentric kinematics. For a control of the swing phase, axis friction and extension assist spring are infinitely adjustable.
