3W095 Modular Knee Joint, monocentric

monocentric
with internal extension assist
up to 100 kg/220 lbs. body weight 

Application:
  • for trans-femoral amputees
  • low functional level
  • medium stance phase stability
  • medium swing phase control
  • not recommended for unstable patients

Function:
This knee joint has a pyramid with a spherical segment at its proximal and distal end.
The connection of upper and lower part of the joint is done by the knee axis with bushings and ball bearings. The swing
phase is controlled by the axis friction and the extension assist springs.
